What To Expect

Musandam Travel and Tourism - Day Tours

Korsa omani-gränsen och kör till Khasab, Musandams lilla och vackra bergsbyggda huvudstad. Här ombord en traditionell omani dhow och sätta segel runt den spektakulära musandam kusten, känd som "Norge av Arabien" för sina höga fjordar, karga berg och turkos vatten.

Njut av gratis läsk, mineralvatten och färsk frukt ombord och njut av det magnifika landskapet från soliga eller skuggade däckområden. Håll utkik efter pods av lekfulla delfiner i vatten runt bågen. Musandams hav är hemma för betydande populationer av knöl och näsa delfiner, så det finns en god chans att göra observationer.

Runt halvvägs genom din kryssning, släpp ankare utanför den steniga ön Telegraph Island. Ta ett dopp eller använd den medföljande snorklingsutrustningen för att sväva igenom det ljusblå vattnet bland skolor av ängelfisk-, mosfisk- och papegojfisk.

Därefter gräva i en läcker buffélunch ombord i arabisk stil. Njut av rätter som grillad kyckling, pasta sallader, platta bröd och hummus (kikärter dip) som du dricker i inställningen och solskenet.

På eftermiddagen kan du njuta av mer tid att simma, snorkla eller sparka tillbaka på däck. Sedan njut av de senaste synpunkterna på kusten när du seglar tillbaka till Khasab.

A great day out of the hectic Dubai

This tour is a great way to get away from the hectic city of Dubai and relax in a spectacular atmosphere. The landscape is stunning, no surprise this area is called "the Norway of Arabia". The fjord is surrounded by rocky mountains and scattered with small fishermen's villages. We saw dolphins and we could dive in the crystal clear sea, admiring corals and colorful fish. The captain was a very pleasant person and the lunch on board is delicious. The boat is super comfortable. Highly recommended! The pickup and dropoff at the hotel is a very appreciated service.

It is a long trip (12-14 hours), but absolutely worth it! Amazing landscape, dolphins right next to the boat, and excellent guides. This was my absolute favourite experience in Dubai.

This was the highlight of our Dubai vacation!! I spent a long time researching different tours and I’m so glad we chose this one! Pick up was right on time. Driver was good, and he made the border crossing very easy. We made a quick stop on the way to use the bathroom and buy snacks/drinks, which was perfect since we hadn’t had breakfast yet. Everyone on the boat was soooo welcoming and smiling!! The unlimited Tea and coffee was delicious. Boat had unlimited water and pop too. Lunch was filling and one of our favorite meals. It was interesting to see all the little villages along the route and here about how each one was unique. There were to snorkeling/swimming stops. The first was some of the best snorkeling I’ve seen. We ended up having a large pod of dolphins with babies follow our boat for a while home!

Our suggestions would be to eat breakfast before leaving and bring your own snorkel gear, especially if you have a beard. The snorkel equipment is the full face mask type with the built in snorkel, which my husband couldn’t use as it was leaking all around his beard.

Overall, our favorite thing we’ve done on this trip!

Very pleasant and relaxing trip. Friendly , helpful and engaged staff, very good atmosphere. Good lunch on board. Take some food with you as car ride is 3:30-4h to the port in Oman. Snorkeling and dolphin watching were highlights of the trip

Today I went to musandum dam one day trip that was organised by TripAdvisor...
It was a fantastic experience....the trip was very well organized and the staff is very cooperative and friendly...
The cruise was very neat and clean and the food was good
We did all the activities that were mentioned and the experience was amazing...
The kids also enjoyed a lot.

Hidden Gem Tour

Absolutely amazing trip! I do think that the total trip time is WAY longer than the stated “9 hours” - it took us 4 hours of driving just to get to the port in Khasab, and another 4 to get back to Dubai (we were staying in a hotel right by the Dubai airport), in addition to the 6 hours on the boat, making the total trip time more like 14 hours. Therefore, the “9 hours” in the description is a little misleading (only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5).

However, aside from that, it was incredibly beautiful and scenic. The fjords and cliffs are majestic and the water is turquoise blue. The boat staff were extremely nice and did absolutely everything they could to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the cruise. The Arabic coffee and tea is delicious, as well as the local lunch that is provided. I would absolutely recommend this trip for anyone looking to do something outdoors and outside of Dubai. Cruising around the fjords is breathtaking and feels like you’re on a different planet, the scenery is nothing like I’ve ever seen before. If you’re debating on whether or not to book this trip - do it! It is so different and unique compared to the typical tours around Dubai.

One of the biggest pros about the entire thing is that nothing felt rushed - something that many other tours are guilty of - rushing people through just to get that money and push the next group in. This tour was relaxing and calm and you can tell that the operators genially care about providing a great experience and teaching a little bit about the local culture and way of life of the people who live there.
